Will Gandhi Family Take up The Rae Bareli, Amethi Challenge?

Published On: April 25, 2024 – With less than a week before the first part of the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress hasn't decided yet on who will run for seats in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli and Amethi, which are usually contested by the Nehru-Gandhi family. Since their respective inception, Congress has almost always won in Amethi and Rae Bareli — barring some instances. However, the uncertainty over the Gandhis’ candidacy from Amethi and Rae Bareli has been touted by the BJP as a sign of defeat from the Opposition. So will the Gandhis be taking up the UP challenge?
