Will PM Modi Help Resolve Ukraine-Russia Conflict?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, about a week after his visit to Ukraine. During the conversation, Modi reiterated “India’s firm commitment to support an early, abiding and peaceful resolution of the Russia-Ukraine conflict”. After PM Modi’s historic visit to Ukraine, the first to the country since its independence in 1991, President Zelenskyy has indicated India could be one of the possible venues of the next Global Peace Summit.
