This relief can be attributed to the arrival of fresh supplies from the hilly regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Starting from the final week of June, retail prices for tomatoes began to soar, reaching Rs 100/kg on June 30th, indicating a drastic 400% surge compared to the preceding week.
