Women Employees Can Nominate Children Over Spouses

Published On: January 30, 2024 - According to the new rules, proposed by the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare, women government employees can now nominate children over their spouse. Earlier, children and other family members were eligible to get pension only after the spouse's death; however, as per the new rules in Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, women employees can nominate their sons and daughters.
